Heather Riley (They/Them) is an artist, zinester, and arts professional of settler decent currently based in Tkaronto. They have completed a Post-Graduate certificate in Museum and Gallery Studies (Georgian College) in 2020 and received both an Honours Bachelor of Arts (University of Toronto Mississauga) and an Advanced Diploma (Sheridan College) in 2018. In both their art and research, Heather is interested in examining queer histories hidden within art collections, and the ways in which queer bodies exist throughout history. They have exhibited in group shows at Visual Arts Mississauga, The Red Head Gallery, and Art Museum at the University of Toronto, and have curated shows at the Maclaren Art Centre, and Robert McLaughlin Gallery (upcoming).
